Kurdish Muslims among the more open to the gospel

August 23, 2006

If you live in Nashville, TN or Atlanta, GA you have a huge
opportunity and responsibility to reach the Kurdish Muslims
of Northern Iraq. Since the Gulf War the American
government has moved thousands of families of Kurdish
Muslims to those two cities. They are among the more open
of all Muslims since Islam has caused their families and
country so much hurt and death. One Kurdish man told me
just yesterday, "God doesn't love us. He created us and
then let us all go. If Kurdistan ever becomes a free
country then I will believe that God loves us." He, like
the other thousands of Kurdish families need to understand
that God loves them and sent his Son to make them free. And
if God makes you free, you are free indeed. Contact Project
North Africa for more information and ideas on how your
church can be involved in reaching Muslim people in your
town.
