Noted Reaction of Muslims

I have observed that whenever Muslim terrorists strike anywhere in the world the reaction(s) of the rest of Islam is strangely silent. The news media and politicians go to great length to try and differentiate between terrorists and the rest of Muslims yet 'the majority' condones radical violence through their silence. Are they afraid of receiving some of the same treatment from their 'brothers' for speaking out?

IS there a difference as the media and politicians say? If so (and I suspect there is) why do they remain silent in the face of ever growing violence, killing of innocents and grisly actions such as beheading of anyone who doesn't go along with their beliefs? Why don't the bulk of Muslims speak out and separate themselves from the terrorists?

We've all heard belief in 'Allah" is a peaceful religion yet Jesus Christ is the ONLY one I know of who said love your enemies and do good to them that persecute you. The Koran actually teaches the killing of anyone who doesn't accept Islam.

What kind of religion is it that approves of violence and has to force it's way upon others? Who would WANT that type of belief? If it has to be forced, how loyal are those whom it is forced upon? What do Muslims say in response to questions like these?
