Everybody needs to be reading. Read books about how to reach Muslims. If anybody wants some suggestions about where to find books, just ask. I'd recommend anything by Samuel Zwimmer. It is sometimes hard to find since his books are around 100 years old but it will inspire and convict you.

Quote #1: "The call to the unoccupied fields is one to great faith, and thus, one to great sacrifice." - Samuel Zwimmer

Another great Zwemer quote that I love:

"Does it really matter how may die or how much money we spend in opening closed doors if we really believe that missions are warfare and that the king's glory is at stake?"

This is a quote that will blow the mind of everyone who has said that to reach Muslims is impossible.

"I feel now, that Arabia could easily be evangelized within the next thirty years if it were not for the wicked selfishness of Christians." – Samuel Zwemer (Missionary to the Muslims of Saudi Arabia)

"Those who have tried to reach Mohammedans (Muslims) with the gospel message and who are in the forefront of the fight, do not call for retreat, but for reinforcements and advance."

"The Church must awake to her duty toward Islam. Who will wake her and keep her awake unless it be those who have heard the challenge of Islam, and who, goingout against her, have found her armor decayed, her weapons antiquated, and her children, though proud and reticent, still unhappy?"
-Robert E. Speer-

"I see many knights going to the Holy Land beyond the seas, and thinking that they can acquire it by force of arms; but in the end all are destroyed before they attain that which they thing to have. Whence it seems to me that the conuest of the Holy Land ought not to be attempted except in the way in which thou and thine apostles acquired it, namesly, by love and prayers and the pouring out of tears and blood."

-Raymund Lull, 1235-1315
First missionary to the Muslims. It was said of him speaking in the context of his contemporaries who had written books to win Muslims, "They offered arguments; he offered his life."

"No part of the non-Christian world has been so long neglected as Islam. The Task has either appeared so formidable, the ovstacles to its accomplishment have seemed so great, or faith has been so weak that one might suppose the Church thought her great commission to evangelize the world did not apply to Mahammedans."

Samuel Zwimmer from his book the Moslem world

"While these two men and others tried to reach Moslems by their pen, Raymund Lull was the first to go to them in Peruson. They offered arguments; he offered his life."

"Christendom accustomed itself ever since the time of the Crusades to look upon Islam as its most bitter foe and not as a prodigal son to be won back to the Father's house."

"The history of missions is the history of answered prayer. From Pentecost to the Haystack meeting in New England and from the days when Robert Morrison landed in China to the martyrdom of John and Betty Stam, prayer has been the source of power and the secret of spiritual triumph."

"None but women can reach Muslim Women... So we have a solemn duty in this matter that we cannot shift. The blood of souls is on our skirts, and God will demand them at our hands."

“The pioneer missionary, in overcoming obstacles and difficulties, has the privilege not only of knowing Christ and the power of His resurrection, but also something of the fellowship of His suffering.”

“If God has called you to China or any other place and you are sure in your own heart, let nothing deter you...Remember, it is God who has called you and it is the same as when He called Moses or Samuel.” – Gladys Aylward

This is for all of us who have made some committments recently toward reaching Muslims (or any other people.)
